I suggest we do the Interchange Challenge on Tuesday 23rd as this has never been attempted before. It should take about 2.5-3hrs to complete.

Re: Vancouver 2010
This all looks very interesting. I'd quite like to come along to the thing on 23rd, whatever it happens to be, if that's OK? (I'm not around for the others, unfortunately)
Is it alright to do just one event, or are there Olympic Rules against this?!

Excellent, I'll have College (potentially) until 1, but if it starts late enough then I'd love to come.
Thanks!

Re: Vancouver 2010
The TOSA thinks that evening events should be as short as possible, so therefore I suggest we do the 60 minute challenge in which you must visit as many unique stations as possible in 60 minutes. The rules will be quite simple, you can start wherever you like on the first train after 18:00 from your nominated starting station and try to visit as many stations as you can. You can change lines as many times as you like or stick to one line, the choice is yours. It will be important to keep a log of what time you arrive at each station (especially toward the end of the hour) as there will be a countback in th event of a tie. I would suggest after the challenge we meet at the Prince of Wales Feathers, Warren Street for the Tuesday night pub quiz.

Is 60 mins long enough, could you not just breeze around the Circle line or are there points to be gained for Interchanges?
Liking the quiz idea as well

I agree with Kevin, I don't think 60 minutes is long enough to make it an interesting challenge. Hammersmith to Bayswater via the Circle will take 1hr15 on its own.

Re: Vancouver 2010
I think that you could visit more stations than just staying on the Circle Line (27 stations) but I do like the idea of bonus points per interchange. I guess the question is how much is awarded per interchange, it should probably only be a bonus of 1 or 2 stations per interchange. We should try and start at 6pm if we are to make the quiz in good time.

I don't think there is really enough time to do a challenge and get to the quiz on time. I would prefer we did a bigger challenge and did the quiz some other Tuesday.

As snow is currently falling, it made me wonder what the weather forecast is for the 19th? Any ideas?

Most stations in an hour/90 mins/2 hours sounds more interesting, will leave the rules debate for others though
