Less than a week now and we still don't have an opening event

U could do still do an alphabet but it definately wouldnt be a record time i have checked that u can get to every station between a-w missing j,x,y,z the problem stations would be i as always and u as uxbridge is the only choice i think there,s only 1 for k as well.JoeGJ1984 wrote:If the TOSA is around and reading this, given that we still have no confirmation of an event to replace the SLAM on Saturday 13th February, how about doing, say, the alphabet challenge? I took it fromhttp://www.tubeforum.co.uk/alphabet.html (as an aside, the main site that this forum is attached to is badly out of date). I noticed that there is also no station beginning with J, which isn't mentioned on the link above. (I also thought of the all lines challenge, but as the Circle Line is closed this won't work). There's surely some other challenge the TOSA could drag up (there have been lots invented!)
Don't see why one would never get a record here - yes, there's some difficult letters, but they were always there - in particular, you have to go to Ickenham for an I, but you always had to. It would be no different this Saturday.palkanetoijala31 wrote:U could do still do an alphabet but it definately wouldnt be a record time i have checked that u can get to every station between a-w missing j,x,y,z the problem stations would be i as always and u as uxbridge is the only choice i think there,s only 1 for k as well.JoeGJ1984 wrote:If the TOSA is around and reading this, given that we still have no confirmation of an event to replace the SLAM on Saturday 13th February, how about doing, say, the alphabet challenge? I put odds of a record 1.100 circle being out adds some really easy letters early on its the going back out to uxbridge for u which would cost the time.JoeGJ1984 wrote:Don't see why one would never get a record here - yes, there's some difficult letters, but they were always there - in particular, you have to go to Ickenham for an I, but you always had to. I reckon the SLAM would have taken some time anyone have an estimate?scrxisi wrote:It'd take of 5-6+ hours to do the letters in order, which is a bit too long IMO...

Well, the District line past East Ham is out which knocks out Upney, Upminster and Upminster Bridge.Going Underground wrote:Sorry I am missing sonmething, what is the enforced Uxbridge business? Thanks
