Google Street View treasure hunt!

Can you identify a station from just a paving slab? Sadly, some people can

Ah yes, now I've read it again, I think you're correct. You get to post the next request!

Er, I have no idea what to look for - let's stick with the bridge - but you can't do this one!

It's your own fault for getting the last one wrong ...

Not as easy as it seems; it's taken me over three months. But here you go: http://goo.gl/maps/bYiwa

A motorway with no traffic (except the google car).

  • Interesting - ten days ago I was travelling on a bus from Rochdale to Middleton which went past the roundabout that this one links to.
Now, your A-Stock train, er ... try this http://goo.gl/maps/2uM67. It's not much, but I hope it's enough.

Okay, find me a canal lock with two boats in it.

This is a tricky one. I've spotted 2 examples in the overhead view, none in the street view yet!

I have several locks in mind, but the Google street car didn't get alongside!

Not really. All one has to do is follow the route of a canal until one finds a lock with a road alongside, or bridge going over nearby. There must be one somewhere.

That's the access road to Willesden Junction depot. Even *I* know that.

I didn't even see that! All I know is that that is the way you get to "windy bridge", which allows access to the other side of the mainline tracks.
