Right, sadly I can't make that time, but I expect that one or more of my team mates will be there ... won't you Messrs Brown?

Sunday night is always wide open for me so no problem.....
Hopefully S.D. might be about as well.... :)

Edit: I notice you have mentioned comic relief in a couple of posts, it's for kids in need

And as we move over to the matter of a good cause, any way I could sponsor Team Needing Help in real life. My bank card never has more than a fiver on it!

Kev, good to see the preperation and fund raising is underway, but I think you may be getting a bit carried away with your preperations for coping with the Canons Park - Edgware and High Barnet - Cockfosters sections.

Hey Cathryn many thanks, all donations of any size are greatly appreciated....

If you have difficulty sponsoring us by bank card then I don't know if you have paypal? Failing that we might see you on the day anyway with a food drop.... :D

Starkey7 wrote:Matt, just to let you know, our team are getting ourselves sorted and we're confident that we'll attend on Friday (17th November).
I presume that you and your accomplice have a team, and I believe that uefacup81 wants to take part too. Perhaps he can form a third team, or you could include him in yours.
I think that the only thing that you have left to do is to organise lifts for people (if you can, that is, otherwise we'll have to rustle Plan B up, whatever that is) and organise the BBC to come and take pictures of us and make us feel important! We teams can publicise the Comic Relief charity as we go round the Tube.
With regard to the end point, Team Needing Help (my team) is finishing at Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3. It's easier for us lot to get home that way, and it makes for a nicer route. Unless you have other plans, it might be fun if everybody finished at the same place.
Lastly, the site is looking good! Plenty of information is there already; would you be able to make the remaining documents (such as a model letter to one's local newspaper) available for us to download?
I'd love to be able to finish at the same place as everyone else - so I've had a go at planning an Amersham - Heathrow 123... seems the best I can do at the moment is 19h exactly... which is my worst route by far!! Any ideas? Anyone want to be on my team!?

You may have all forgotten that last train to Heathrow Terminal 4 is at 2356. So by finishing at Heathrow you will actually have to break the world record in order to get to T4 in time.

According to TFL the final train arrives T4 at 00:06.
Therefore we are projecting a time of 18 hr 38 min, which will only break the world record by 5 minutes (as opposed to 5 secs!!)

Erm, 18 hours and 38 minutes won't break the record at all!

Well spotted team mate. What made me think the record was 18 hr 43 min? In that case I hope our route has us finishing at T4 on the 23:56 train and therefore we will set a time of 18 hr 28 mins and smash the record by 7 minutes... easy peasy lemon squeezy :)

I think maybe you had the previous record of 18hrs 35mins and 43secs in mind and just confused the 43 mins /secs.... :?

Don't think we will have time to get back to McD's for our supper though, we are gonna have to come up with a better route
