I am in trouble with a strange injury ATM. It's right at the top of my leg as soon I start to run it really hurts... Cycling / walking is OK I can feel iand aware of a slight niggle but not to the point of pain....
Tried a 20 yard jog across the works yard this morning after cycling and was not good... :(
Anyway I will be joining Tubeguru on the volunteer roster this week, mine at Bedfont...

I've got a problem with my leg too. It's got a huge tattoo on it, and the latest additions I had this morning prevent me from running on it, especially as it had fresh ink. I'm a marshal tomorrow instead.

Unlike you two, I am volunteering despite being fully fit to run. That wasn't the case in August, when I took photos due to injury! :)

Our run sometimes combines running with barcode scanning if they're short of volunteers. They usually choose people who tend to finish in the top 40 or 50, so you can do more people who finish after you. I just about qualify for that most weeks. :)

I've twice done that, but that's because I've spotted the run director doing barcode scanning, so I have relieved them of that. We have one runner every week that runs and barcode scans. It's great to have someone who knows barcode scanning inside out to help keep our giant snaking queue moving.

Pretty smooth parkrun at Milton Keynes this morning, numbers were down a bit as the local running club had a trip to Cardiff.

I was indeed one of 2 tail runners and walked / gently jogged and also collected all the course markers (there are a lot of them to carry!) The other tail runner stayed back with a wheelchair athlete while I was sent on a short way to shepherd the rest of the flock..
