My attempted illegal move in last night's game was perhaps an example of the Law of Unintended Consequences. Because the Overground line between Denmark Hill and Clapham Junction was blocked at Clapham North/Clapham High Street, I didn't think of it as a valid route and wasn't considering a move that way. But the rules say that a move is illegal whenever there's a direct connection - even if that connection is blocked! I'm not sure if that's what I intended when I drew the rules up but I'm certainly not going to argue with them.

After my humiliation in that game I'm not sure if I deserve to start the next one. Any takers?
