I think the only things booked at the moment are the Zone 1 Challenge on Friday 3rd June, and the final round of the Random 15 Championship on Saturday 4th June.

I've got a calendar from the council on my fridge which tells me when they're going to collect my bins up to Christmas. I can forward it if you like.

I believe that all the R15 rounds for next season are going to be picked in advance again so once this has been decided look out for an update...

Hello Everyone

Post by MylesHSG »

Hello everybody.

I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Myles and im 19 and live in Watford.

I first found out about the tube challenge when I sat next to and had a nice chat with a fellow who was doing the challenge, I think it was in the spring of 2007, but i'm not 100% sure.

Me and my father will be atempting the "full monty" sometime this August (yes I know it will be bloody hot, but its the only time we can both have a weekday off) and will be the only time we have before I start my new job. Our first attempt last year failed when I got ran over by a car whilst we were running between Edgware and Stanmore (we were on nto a decent time untill then ) My father wishes to remain in the backround (doesn't want to create an account on here), however he has allowed me to divuldge that he his a Network Rail signaller and if you ut in a nice word to me he can speed up your Bakerloo line on the network rail controlled tracks up to Harrow and Wealdstone 8)

Anyway I'm really glad to have found this forum before we make our second attempt.

If you are planning a full network for August your choice of dates will be somewhat limited as the District & Circle Lines are suspended between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road from 23 July until 23 August inclusive. This means that it would be impossible to visit Bayswater during this period.

Ahah! Well first I would lke to thank the forum mod/admin for putting my post in the right place, apoliges.

That would rule out two of our planned dates, but that would still leave us two of our planned dates. The 30th probably being zero hour as it were.

Sorry forgot to say welcome to the forum Myles, I would be intrigued to know which challenger you met back in 2007. I have lost count of the number of people that were amazed at Tube Challenge when I have been doing full networks and the times I have given out the webpage only to never hear from them again...
Good luck in August I read your post and was also going to offer the same advice re the closures... Best of luck on the full network and if you fancy an Alternative challenge in the meantime the 1st round of the Random 15 Championship is on 23rd July :D

Thank you very much for the offer, its a Saturday(?) so should be free. Could you point me in the right (thread) direction? Oh and thanks for the warm welcome.

I can't remember who I spoke to. It was on the Bakerloo line at about midday going southbound.

I grew up a stones throw away from Harrow and Wealdstone station so I know about Harrow drivers, from Edware to Rayners lane they are just terrible! :x

Are you still planning an attempt on 30 August, or have you already managed one this month?
