I was going to sneak in an early attempt on the first morning, but unfortunately had to go to a meeting :(
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

I know this is short notice, but I've suddenly become free tomorrow (thursday) evening. Would anyone be up for meeting and competing to be the new DLR record holder? And of course there'd be pub and darts afterwards...

Hi Dudey, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Did you go out tonight on the DLR? At the moment I'm saving my energy for next Friday, but I would like to try the new DLR config at some stage when I'm not so busy.
One day I shall return!

I didn't go out in the end. Didn't really fancy making the trip up just to do a solo attempt. I am of course still very up for having a crack at this, especially since I've been doing a good amount of running recently and want to put it to the test!

Well, it looks like I am the first one to attempt the new DLR 40 challenge. Originally I went out just to get a time on the board but ended up doing three back-to-back attempts!

The times of these are as follows:
Attempt 1: Beckton- Bank: 02:02:13
Attempt 2: Bank- Beckton (after restarting twice) at 02 15 55
Attempt 3: Beckton- Lewisham 02 12 50

The new DLR 40 reciord is now on!

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Tangy.
