£5.30 for Zone 1-9 for 10+ people. It is not clear whether this is a peak or off-peak travelcard though.

scrxisi wrote:Its not even a travelcard, in the Z1-9 fare leaflet it defines it as tube, dlr, London Overground and selected National Rail routes only. The NR Fares Manual futher defines these National Rail routes as those like the c2c where the fares are interchangeable. Buses and Trams aren't mentioned.

It's still be a saving to get it though, if we all carried a PAYG Oystercard for buses/trams/c2c bits...
That might help u londoners what about us that dont live near the capital.?

Oystercards are not much use to those who dont visit the capital enough to use them.

Yes they are. The money never runs out, and if they don't often visit the capital, then they're likely to be making short Zone 1 trips when they do, where an Oyster card is much cheaper to use.

If you lot are starting at Heathrow, then it'll be more difficult for me to support-crew you (eg near Harrow).

Some bad news and some (hopefully) good news. My double booking is no more, so I now need the hotel I earlier offered. However, I need the hotel because I am now able to offer support during the day (probably from lunchtime onwards) if it is needed.

Just let me know :D

I know that I should've asked this before, but is there a way to get back to Heathrow from Amersham afterwards?

We are parking a car at Amersham on the Thursday night but unfortunately this only has 5 seats and they are already filled. Not sure if anyone else is planning on doing something similar :?:

scrxisi wrote:If we finish in reasonable time the tube should be running well enough to get you somewhere vaguely close. If we finish 30 mins down, which is probably most likely, then you'll be able to get back to HOTH, from which buses run to Heathrow all night.

I'm sure there are other options too :)
That's fine, thanks!

I've done my best, I spent time communicating with my business travel department a little while ago, eventually they came to the conclusion that they couldn't help me because they didn't have TfL prices and to contact TfL themselves, so I have tried....

Other than James, Garion & Andi is there anyone else staying at Heathrow the night before?
Will any of you have cars at Heathrow or how are you planning to get to Hatton X. I can probably try and swing round and pick you up before going to collect the Browns from Ashford. Unless of course you all prefer to walk? Logistics are going to be a bit tough for this, I'm just concerned someone is going to get stuck somewhere.

suggest we do a list showing where we stay the night before, and if we okay to get there and back in evening:

Soup Dragon - Lightwater / Drive to Hatton X / Amersham lift with Kevin
Ping Pon - Lightwater / Drive to Hatton X / Amersham lift with Kevin
One day I shall return!
