cheers folks. although i am incredibly pleased with the time, i certainly don't think it's unbeatable. like i've said, there were still a couple of waits, the longest of which was sitting around at Moorgate, so if you get some better luck up there you could shave some vital seconds off.

also i would thoroughly recommend the time of day i tried this, about 3pm on a midweek afternoon. there arn't very many people at most of the stations, with the exception of the usual few, due it not quite being rush hour, but all the extra trains that come on for the peak period are all just about coming through so you get some pretty decent service frequencies.

but now i'm setting my sights on the other records! actually, tomorrow i'm heading into the city for other stuff in the evening, but i might well have a crack at the Bottle if i get in early enough. watch this space
