Ah I think you're getting your architects mixed up there! The building for Belsize Park was designed by Leslie Green while the Kilburn Park building was built by Stanley Heaps based on the design of Leslie Green. While Green's buildings were designed for lifts (hence the semi-circle windows on the first floor), Heaps' buildings are designed for escallators (hence there is no first floor).
