Yes, somewhat gutted not to be able to keep the run going, but for some reason my breathing decided to be ropey for the first 4k and I couldn't make it up in the last one. Less than 20 seconds out though, so here's to next time!

Other way round - she was one of a dozen I sped past on my sprint finish, because I didn't want to be beaten on my course by so many tourists! Walk pacer this week after a kickabout in the park on Wednesday night practically hobbled me - the thought "football's mostly running, I'll be fine" was inaccurate!
Holder of the slowest recorded 274 attempt: 4 months, 1 day, 9 hours, 17 minutes, 32 seconds.

Actually, I may start parkrun soon - my potential Tube Challenge partner has run a few and seems convinced that I won't be able to beat him (to be honest, I think that it would take some serious effort on my part)! I think that in a few months, I should be happy to start.
Zone 1 Challenge (Olympics 2016): 3:44:31.67 - we were very unlucky indeed!
South London Challenge (Summer 2016): 1:58:40 - going to try again soon!
All Lines Challenge (August 2016): 44:38 - happy with this ... For now!

Feel like I'm about the only regular who doesn't do Junior/Parkrun now then... Does a 70 minute football match count??......

All done. Al is back on form with a ninth PB in ten starts, and overtakes Sam in the time rankings. Watch out Andi ...

What to do when running is a stupid idea and missing parkrun is not an option? Walk a parkrun. 55:42 today

Paul Fielding, the man who has done more UK events than any other, recently voted that Wepre was the toughest. I reckon that Lanhydrock was tougher than Wepre though.
