Had a good run pushing a trolley around Sainsbury's. Back next weekend, so I might go and try out Tamar Trails.

Table's all done. Lots of runners this week, and a few course-bests.

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
Cheers guys, I decided to take a few Saturdays off this month to have a real crack at the sub 20.The Raven wrote:Well done Soup Dragon!Going Underground wrote:SD gets that sub 20![]()
The last two weekends I was lucky as the weather was near perfect for running. Last week 20:11 gave me good hope for a quick time this week.
What has really helped is training with Worthing Harriers, they do interval training every Tuesday, usually 10 x 600m with a 90 second breather in-between.
I doubt I will have another Parkrun this year so will have to keep training and wait for the next opportunity. My target next year will be 19:38 of Crunchy Saviour.
One day I shall return!

It's a Course I'll go back to and give it a proper go I reckon I can get a time of 23/24 mins on that course.palkanetoijala31 wrote:ah did wonder why 14mins slower thought he had tripped you up at start or something.

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
Well, they are finally starting a Parkrun near where I live, so I am planning to do my first Parkrun at the Inaugural Cannock Chase event on Saturday 19th November. The time will be shocking as I am unfit even by my standards, but I am looking forward to it.

The others 'near' me are all over 30 minutes away, hence not dipping my toe into the world of Parkrun so far.palkanetoijala31 wrote:don't get pissed on a Friday night I didn't know you came from that way al I must see if some parkruns are in that area as its almost perfect for my regular trips up Wakefield way.al wrote:Well, they are finally starting a Parkrun near where I live, so I am planning to do my first Parkrun at the Inaugural Cannock Chase event on Saturday 19th November.
